Jersey Design Contest
Get ready to showcase your creativity in the
Lorette Minor Hockey sublimated jersey design contest!
Open to Lorette elementary and high school programs and community members, this is your chance to create a unique hockey jersey that will represent your team. Submit a digital design in JPEG format by April 5th, 2025, at 11:59 PM CST. Remember, your original design must be entirely your own and free from copyright infringement, so no using any internet-sourced images or previously published art. The winning entry, selected on April 15, 2025, will receive free reproductions of their jersey design, so let your imagination shine and make sure your artwork is suitable for all audiences!

Sublimated jerseys with your design will be produced and shipped to you for free.
THE RULES
- Contest is open to the Lorette elementary and high school programs and community members.
- The name “Comets” will continue to be used, however entries do not have to use the existing Comets logo or colors. Submissions could also include a new, original Comets logo design if desired.
- Absolutely no element of your design may infringe copyright. That means no taking images from the internet and reworking them or even recreating your own version of copywritten material.
- Lorette Minor Hockey reserves the right to keep their current design if no suitable substitute is submitted during the contest period. In this situation, no grand prize will be awarded from the contest.
Subject Matter
The design must be the artist's original creation and shall not be copied or duplicated from previously published art, including photographs, clip art or electronic graphic images.
Designs may include art and text, but no photographs. By entering the competition, you agree that your submission is your own work.
Content
Submissions may not promote third-party products or services, or incorporate third-party intellectual property, including, but not limited to copyright-protected software, images, characters, logos, names, and trademarks. The Submission may not be offensive or otherwise unsuitable for use.
Submission Procedures
All entries must be submitted on a hockey jersey template - saved as a jpeg for easy upload - and submission emails should be sent by 11:59PM on April 5, 2025 to:

Suitability for Reproduction
Lorette Minor Hockey reserves the right to alter the design if necessary to comply with copyright laws or meet production specifications.
Judging of the Contest
Lorette Minor Hockey Board will serve to judge the entries.
By submitting your design, you grant permission for your design to be used by Lorette Minor Hockey Association.
